Yes. Our studios accept walk-ins 7 days a week. Walk-ins are always first come, first served.

At Artistic Skin Designs Inc., we consider a walk-in tattoo, a design that can be completed for you on the day/time of your arrival without an appointment.
Our Team works on a rotation walk-in basis, meaning in between the Artists scheduled appointments with others, prior arrangements like consultations/design, each individual artist may have time available to accept a walk-in tattoo, and then upon accepting the walk in tattoo, the next artist to become “available” will accept the next walk-in tattoo if they are able.

Yes, always. We suggest reaching out to the Artist of your choice prior to discuss your ideas. As this is the best way to get in contact with the Artist you would like to meet with.

Reaching out to an Artistic Rep., is the best way to plan. You will have to come in studio to discuss, in person. You can call our studio locations and ask to speak with an Artist, or contact them directly through any given platforms; Phone, Facebook/Instagram, Booking Sites, or email us to assist you in pairing you with an Artist.

Artistic has a shop minimum of $100. Price can vary depending mostly on Size, Elements of your design, Location/Placement of your design, and what your final goals are for your BodyArt.
The best way to get a Price or Quote is to speak with our Artists in studio, none of artists can give a quote over a phone call or message.

A deposit, is like a retainer fee. Some artists require this for certain situations and others do not require you place a deposit. Giving your Artist a deposit means you are commissioning them to begin working on your design and or to hold a specific date and time to work with you.
You should receive a receipt of your payment for your records.

We accept Visa/Mastercard/Amex/Discover and other debit/credit cards, Cash, ApplePay and Tap to Pay.

Piercing FAQ

The final cost of your Piercing depends on the type of piercing and the jewelry chosen from our studio selection.

You may call our studios prior to arriving and ask to speak to a Piercer for pricing questions regarding baseline starter prices.
You are welcome to walk-in as well and chat with one of our Piercing Reps when and if they are available. Tattoo Artists can not assist you with Piercing needs or pricing and can not sell any body jewelry.

We take great pride in the quality of our jewelry we choose to carry from many of the Industry’s leading proffessional body jewelry manufacturers for your initial Piercings. Jewelry costs vary from Titanium Starters, Diamond/Cubic Zirconia, Solid 14KT Golds.

At Artistic Skin Designs Inc., we carry only body jewelry from our manufacturers that meets or passes specific standards and requirements set by ASTM/ISO grading and certified body jewelry, along with providing Mill Certifications for their jewelry. We do this with your health and safety in mind, as not all jewelry is made equal.
We even go one step further by only using “internally threaded” body jewelry for all initial piercings. Meaning balls, gems, and tops lock into the jewelry itself. “Externally threaded” meaning the jewelry comes to a point where a ball or top must be placed on, in our opinion is the lesser option and doesn’t meet our safety standards and practices.
Jewelry must pass all testing required to meet;
ASTM-F138 Certified Implant Grade Titanium
ASTM-F136 Certified Jewelry and Solid 14KT or higher precious metals I.E. Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, for use in piercings.
Only jewelry that meets these standards can be legally labeled as “implant grade”.
For this reason our Piercers are not allowed to Pierce with jewelry not purchased from our studios for quality control.

The Jewelry we carry is the best option for you. Our body jewelry that is graded and certified by ASTM/ISO standards is a safe option and hypoallergenic. Steels/silvers are no longer accepted as they lack purity standards and can contain mixed metals and other alloys that cause skin reactions in most cases like Nickel, Lead, Mercury, Chromium, Cadmium, Cobalt. All body jewelry is not made equal.

Age requirements depend on the type of piercing and the Piercers discretion. Indiana State Laws in our studios locations require you provide a legal photo ID and that we document this. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you providing their ID, your birth certificate, and a legal photo ID for the person receiving a piercing that is under 18 years of age. School ID’s, State issued ID’s, and Passports are examples.

No. Our studios accept walk-ins 7 days a week in between appointments. If planning ahead is something you can do, our Piercing Reps encourage you to plan with them, so they can accommodate you for the best service even at their busiest times.

No. It is still best in your interest, to contact one of our Piercers prior so they can best assist you in your needs. When allocating time just to you, you will have more time to shop through our jewelry and allows our team to dedicate time to you without interfering with time they have dedicated to others or appointments.

Absolutely not. Only pre-sterilized and disposable single use needles are accepted practice in our Industry and at our Studio locations. Even when piercing kits or stud guns are labeled single use, the act of performing piercings in this manner poses major risks. This is a brute force method ( and causes more pain, swelling and soreness than is necessary) essentially shooting a piece of jewelry into your skin and always causes more damage and trauma that normally ruins the piercing the second it is “completed”. The quality of the jewelry never meets our standards either. A recipe for disaster
